Hands-on field trips & online learning for Grades 3-5
Yuma Live History Adventures at the Yuma Territorial Prison Museum
Yuma Live History Adventures takes 3rd-5th graders beyond the classroom and into the heart of Yuma’s history, nature, and science. Whether they’re solving puzzles to “escape” the old Territorial Prison, exploring the wetlands on a nature hike, building working water siphons, or sending real telegraph messages, students discover how fun learning can be. Can’t make it to Yuma? Our online program brings the excitement right to your classroom with videos, activities, and hands-on projects led by Ranger Bucky, our beaver mascot, and Yazmin, our Yellow-Billed Cuckoo mascot!
